McCormick's has more experience producing printed performancewear for marching bands than anyone else. We are committed to creating products that perform exceptionally well while still being affordable.
While this top-and-cape design is convenient and easy to produce, we believe it is flawed and results in poor visual aesthetic. The one-piece structure doesn't allow you to size the performer's waist and chest independently, it causes one side of the top to sag, it provides no visual separation between uniform components, and it distorts the body’s shape by squaring off the torso instead of providing a sleek, fitted look.
By opting for a combined top and cape you're not getting good versions of either piece. For the same money (or even less) McCormick's offers a dedicated top and separate cape, both of which are designed to perform their respective roles perfectly.
